This is an excellent resource for pupil to independently prepare written or spoken presentations to describe a football match. Pupils can creatively produce match reports or predictions using the vocabulary mat. It is ideally suited to higher KS4 pupils and KS5 pupils. The first sheet has over 120 expressions related to football and describing a sporting event. The second sheet is equally extensive covering the countries involved, the stadiums, vocabulary for emphasising your point, adverbs, vocabulary to conclude your report, vocabulary for listing your reasons, time phrases, linking words and opinions so can be used for other topics. This resource is easy to print and to edit. It is suitable for classwork, homework and cover work. it will work really well as an end of term activity.

Speaking game - Expo 3 vert

There are two versions of this fantastic resource. A board game ready to be printed and an interactive PPT that can be played in class. Both versions contain the same 60 questions. All questions revise the content of Expo 3 vert but would be transferable to a 3rd Year French course. The animation added to the interactive questions means the questions can be tackled in a random order or if you prefer you can follow the numbers and the same order as the text book. It is important that students are regularly revising and consolidating content. This is the perfect tool! With the upcoming changes to GCSE it is important that speaking is practiced regularly. Pupil and teacher friendly. I hope you and your classes enjoy this resource as much as my students have! This would be a great tool for your foreign language assistant to use too.

Verb Slam Dunk! Revise your key tenses

This is a particularly useful resource for consolidating tenses. I have used this successfully with GCSE groups as a starter or a revision exercise. It easily shows gaps in learning and which tenses students are struggling with. The aim is for the pupils to correctly categorise the verbs. All 35 of them. There are 5 tenses; past, present, future, immediate future and imperfect. It is an easy resource to adapt as the basketball analogy can be used too and it can be an active session whereby nets are posted at learning points around the classrooms and pupils place the verbs in the correct station. I hope this is a useful resource for you and your teaching groups.
